As some of these acquired mutations can give physiological benefits. These data were then combined with models that predict how temperature and precipitation will change in the next few decades. This gave the opportunity to understand the biological diversity of plants impact of climate change due to global warming.

A large part of the plants still will not be able, provided that the environmental situation will not improve.
Now, scientists are collecting genetic information regarding the most important regional species of plants with the aim of creating more accurate predictions regarding the disappearance of plants. With this information in hand, it will be possible to understand which species are most at risk of extinction, and it will be possible to develop takiko in order to avoid this.
