For people with disabilities, modern technology offers a variety of solutions that allow you not only to live a full life, but also to deal with different things. But I think beyond all this went Japanese developers, which at the end of November 2018 in one of Tokyo's plan to launch a highly unusual experiment: the opening of the new café, visitors will be served by waiters robots. And manage is not artificial intelligence, and those limited in movement. Moreover, according to the developers, it will be almost completely paralyzed people.

A New cafe will open in the district of Akasaka and in the period from 26 November to 7 December to take orders will be robots OriHime-D, to control which people with physical limitations. OriHime-D is available in two versions. Both are aimed primarily for remote communication. The first model has a height of 21.5 inches and weighs about 600 grams. It can be used to, for example, visits to schools and universities by students who cannot come to school because of illness or any other reasons. The second reaches a height of 1.2 meters and weighs around 20 pounds. Both models can transmit video and audio over the Internet, allowing operators to control their movement from their home using tablets, smartphones or computers. In recognition of Mr. Yoshifuji, he himself in childhood had difficulties in communicating with other people and knows firsthand what is social isolation. Based on my experience, he's Waseda University started the development of robots that could help people to maintain social connections.

During a demonstration of the work of OriHime-D one of the robots was driven by the Nozomi Murataj who suffers from automagically vacuolar myopathy (also called Danon disease). This disease, along with other symptoms, is characterized by progressive muscle weakness. Nozomi Murata lost control of the car, asking his family members if they'd like chocolate. Ory Lab. Inc. plans on a regular basis to use such robots-waiters and to increase capacity to host the Olympic and Paralympic games in Tokyo in 2020.
