Medicine of the future: self-managed mobile clinic with artificial intelligence Source:

High technology are designed to make our lives easier, better and safer. Do not stay aside and development in the field of medicine. For example, the company Artefact Group has recently demonstrated a very interesting vision of the medical technologies of the near future: self-managed mobile clinic under AI control. It unites not only innovative sensors to diagnose the state of health, but also advanced technology, which laid the basis for self-driving cars.

The Mobile clinic will be able to obtain data on the health of visitors from different sources. This can be a different smart wearable electronics, like bracelets, trackers, intelligent scales, kits and even smart toilets. All other procedures can be carried out directly in «mobile office»: thermography, the study of respiration and heart rate, examination of the lungs and the pressure measurement.

After diagnosis, and after analyzing the data, the system can give an opinion on the state of health, record to the right specialist for further tests, a prescription and even give the necessary medication right on the spot. In addition, in the case of serious health problems, a mobile clinic can connect the patient with the duty consultant physician or transport the patient to the nearest medical facility.

Of Course, it may seem that the establishment of such mobile clinics — something out of science fiction, but really most of the necessary technologies in one form or another is already available. Much greater concern is the bureaucracy, because in order to put into operation the similar system, you need to do a lot of work. From improved traffic conditions, and amendments to traffic regulations pertaining to self-driving cars, to drafting legislation, which will regulate the powers of the AI in the provision of medical assistance to a person.
