Scientists: Obesity causes accelerated brain aging
Source:American scientists from the University of Miami have found a link between being overweight in older age and an increased risk for an accelerated reduction of the thickness (thinning) of the cerebral cortex. According to the study, these factors can accelerate at least 10 years. The researchers say that in the area of risk are overweight people over the age of 60 years.
