The name of the company Rolls-Royce is most often associated with for billionaires. Famous British manufacturer of cars, engines for ships and aircraft and power equipment, founded in 1906, today has a market capitalization of more than $ 10 billion pounds. The company's management has recently announced plans to create a unique unmanned vessel equipped with the latest technology.

The 60-meter ship will be able to accelerate to a maximum speed of 25 knots (46 km/h), to swim for times up to 3500 nautical miles and to perform important (including military) missions lasting up to 100 days, including patrolling, stalking, tracking, search min and so on. The propulsion system includes two generators, Rolls-Royce MTU 4000 and the ship provides 4 megawatts of electricity. An array of solar panels can feed into the batteries for a long time.

The Vessel is equipped with a huge number of modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, a small army of unmanned drones, and an array of various sensors required for the orientation of the ship in space. The ship will be able to detect other vessels and, if required by his assignment, to avoid encounters with them. Special equipment will allow the ship to detect even hidden at a great depth underwater boats of the enemy.

The creators of the future ship are sure that an unmanned vessel is unlikely to be able to replace the vessel under the control of the people in the near future. But it is quite possible to introduce into the Navy, in order to save on the ship, as well as reducing the risks associated with the human factor. While the ship no longer known almost nothing, but Rolls-Royce promises to publish more details in the coming months.
