Domestic company Yota Devices will receive funding from Hong Kong investment holding China Baoli Technologies for the production and release of the smartphone YotaPhone the third generation. The phone will be reportedly presented during the fourth Russian-Chinese EXPO, which will be held in Harbin from June 15 to 19,.

At the moment it is known that third-generation YotaPhone will have slightly more than its predecessor, but is much more powerful. And CEO BaoliYota Technology Frank Chen said recently that will change the material of the case, noting that the manufacture of the smartphone will be used «premium content».

«YotaPhone — the most recognizable Russian brand of smartphones. The phone is quite expensive, designed for the premium segment. But consumers, for example in China, began to buy more expensive things, so we have high chances to quickly capture the market».

Version 3 of the YotaPhone to Chinese and Russian markets will be slightly different. The Chinese version will come with preinstalled apps Baidu and WeChat, which will work on both the primary and the second screen. Version for Russia will include the services of Yandex.

The Exact date of receipt of the smartphone on sale is not reported, but we know that entering the Chinese market is scheduled for September 2017. In September, the smartphone will be available for pre-order Russian users, and closer to the end of 2017 it will appear in retail networks. In this case Vasily Potapov, General Director, Yota Devices, is confident in the success of YotaPhone 3 and that its sales will be higher than its predecessor. The cost of the device ranges from 400 to 450 dollars depending on the amount of installed memory.
