A review of the game SUPERHOT VR

In may of last year I told our readers on a shooter called . The game I really liked it, even despite the short duration and extremely unusual visual component in the spirit of Low Poly. Its main drawback at that time I felt the lack of support for VR headsets. Because the only way a player could be in the midst of this daring madness. SUPERHOT, the Essence of VR is that the main character of the game is in virtual reality. Such is the approach in the spirit of Christopher Nolan: a virtual reality inside of virtual reality. Virtual reality works wonders, and despite the fact that I essentially took the game a second time, the emotions she caused solely enthusiastic.

Graphically, SUPERHOT and VR is no different from the original. The same minimalism, textures, spacious and dazzling white room, filled with enemies. This game can be called a mad dance among the flying bullets. You have to show the wonders of resourcefulness, if only to avoid premature death. And death is highly undesirable, because then you have to pass a series of several fights again. Automatic saving occurs only when you complete the series as a whole. The game is unforgiving and forces you to constantly improve their skills.

Control using two controllers PlayStation Move sold just fine and accurately transmits your movements to the virtual world. However, keep in mind that no two "movav" play VR in SUPERHOT you will not succeed. Other models of game management simply does not provide (you will have to buy a regular version called SUPERHOT without VR). But now you can act with both hands simultaneously. For example, in one keep the gun and the other at this time, throw in the head of the enemy glass ashtray. Throwing objects in the game are kind of weird. At first I could not adjust to the throws and in 80% of cases were missed. Objects were flying everywhere, but not where I wanted. Over time, of course, turned out to be right, but the nerves all this shook me considerably.

The VR IN SUPERHOT important thing is to find the right rhythm. And then the game turns into a real pleasure, combining first person shooter and strategic puzzle game with time management. Even when you are very tired, the game just does not want to leave. This strange minimalist world fall in love with once and forever. But with the length of the game it's pretty sad. The original could run for a couple of hours. SUPERHOT VR was a bit longer – it can take three hours. This is enough to get a lot of bright emotions, but after the final scene I want to continue the feast.

Fortunately, the developers did not just stupid to carry an original game to the virtual space. They supplemented it with a completely new levels, situations, surprisingly spectacular battles, new weapons, new interactive objects and so on. The number of "imported" into the game fresh content causes sincere respect. Now you can cut flying bullets with a knife! Even the story has undergone some changes, so that the end of this story will please those who have already passed the original version 2016. You can replay already completed levels, trying to set new records, or to try his luck in for more hardcore testing. For example, developers offer you go through the game never firing a shot.
