Electric Roadster Elon musk is ready to fly around Mars Source:

A Few weeks ago Elon Musk announced that within the first test launch of the carrier rocket, the Falcon Heavy as the payload will use its own "cherry" electric car Tesla Roadster. Some might then think that Musk's idea of a joke. But Elon wouldn't be Elon if he decided to deceive the expectations of his fans.

A Few days ago, the head of SpaceX, has released pictures of collect and the upcoming launch of rocket, the Falcon Heavy, and now Musk has shared on his page in Instagram pictures of a red Tesla Roadster standing on a special pedestal and waiting for "conservation" inside the spacecraft.

"the Red car to the red planet" — wrote in Instagram Musk.

"In the framework of test launches of new missiles typically, the simulated payload used concrete or steel blocks. We thought it was very boring. To be boring – awful. Especially for companies. So we decided to do something unusual, something that will make us proud. Payload in this case will be the original Tesla Roadster, whose multimediasystem will play the track Space Oddity, when he will move in very elliptical orbit around Mars".

Creating the Falcon Heavy and the preparation of the rocket for the first launch company SpaceX is engaged in a few years. In essence the main stage of the carrier rocket heavy class consists of three upper stages of the Falcon 9 rocket. This combination makes the Falcon Heavy most powerful rocket in the world. In the future, Falcon Heavy will be used not only to output payload into orbit, but also for further exploration of the Solar system.
