Spying on smartphones is not quite as we thought

It is believed that our smartphones record everything that is happening around them and transmit to third parties who can use the collected data for targeted advertising. Researchers from northeastern University were trying to find evidence of this, but not found. However, they found something equally sad.

According to the report of Gizmodo, a team of researchers has found that some smartphone applications secretly record what is happening on the device screen and transmit that information.

Did you Happen to observe that you should talk about something, as you can see this ad online? Many have seen this, and it can only be explained by the fact that companies collect audio recordings that were secretly doing smartphones. In order to prove or disprove this, a team of researchers using special software 17260 tested most popular mobile apps.

As part of testing examined the content that mobile apps send to the server. None of the tested applications did not include the microphone of the smartphone and are not sent anywhere recording with it. Instead, some applications record what is happening on the screen and sending that information.

Some applications send data to Analytics companies. It's popular among developers. So they have a better understanding of users. However, not all developers's privacy policy contains information about sending screenshots and screen recordings.

The main purpose of the study, there are limitations in the test, which does not allow to say that the phone definitely does not record everything you say. Just at the moment failed to find evidence. Our personal data is very valuable. Google us that .
