We have about the project «Space Odyssey», the author of which was Russian cosmonaut Alexander Lazutkin. Theoretical classes started at the end of last year, and at the end of February 2017 cadets will travel to conduct practical activities in the Siberian taiga, where it will undergo an intensive course of survival.

«In late February, the children will take part in a three-day test on survival in the taiga. In addition to the tasks of endurance, the specialists of EMERCOM in the region will also undertake a number of psychological tests designed to check the stability of young people in stressful situations», — the press service of the Ministry of industry, energy and trade of the Krasnoyarsk region.

In Total, the project involves the participation of 48 people. Among them are employees «Krasmash», JSC «Information satellite systems», CDB «Geophysics» NCE «Radio». Part of the group are students of SibSAU. The best students that have proven successful in the learning process, will have the opportunity to visit Star city and the cosmonaut training Center named after Yuri Gagarin, where they can participate in a virtual space flight simulator of the ship «Union».

The Purpose of «Odyssey» is simple: to awaken the interest of young professionals for space research and flights. In addition, some participants in this course will be able to inspire to go to work on businesses related to the space sector.
