As Saturn will help to improve the engines on the Ground?

Most modern engines running on hydrocarbon fuels. When burned, formed a rather large amount of energy, which is enough for the effective use of a variety of vehicles. However, according to the editors of the journal Nature, Astronomy, the hydrocarbon fuel can be used not quite as we "used to". Led scientists to these thought processes occurring on one of Saturn's moons.

The fact that according to the data obtained from one probe ESA (European space Agency) under the name "Huygens" in the atmosphere of Titan has a large number of polycyclic hydrocarbons (PAHs), formed from the existing benzene, and is able to burn at a temperature of minus 183 degrees Celsius. That is, according to the scientists, is the cause of the formation of the orange-brownish haze layers of Titan. As stated by the authors,

"According to our calculations and laboratory experiments for the reaction of such hydrocarbons, such as anthracene and phenanthrene (related to PAC) does not necessarily carry out high temperature reactions. PAHs can be synthesized even in low temperature environments, as, for example, occurs on Titan".

According to reports, the reaction of formation of PAHs from benzene on Titan is extremely fast and based on the interaction of van Der Waals complexes, resulting in more complex molecules. The discovery of the mechanism of the initial reaction conversion of benzene at low temperature and pressure may be the key to the use of fossil fuels not only by combustion, but also in other ways. In addition, understanding these mechanisms here, we can not only more fuel efficient, but also to understand the fundamental processes taking place on Titan.
