In a secret laboratory Google want to force the AI to grow food

The project dealt with laboratory X, it must meet three criteria: it must potentially solve the problem that affects millions or billions of people; it needs to include a bold sci-Fi technology; must have at least the hope that it will be implemented in 5-10 years.
Artificial intelligence in agriculture fits perfectly into this framework. According to the UN, 20 to 40 percent of the global harvest crops die every year due to pests and diseases, despite the use of millions of tons of pesticides, so the search for more productive and sustainable methods of agriculture will benefit billions of people. Artificial intelligence is, by the way, bold and powerful, and the speed at which it develops means that 5-10 years for implementation of the project may be sufficient.
Teller said that agriculture is an extremely complex area, so X treats it very seriously. Artificial intelligence could be used to make decisions about harvesting or irrigation. It would also be easier to keep the farm in the condition in which climate change complicates the prediction of weather conditions, if you enlist the support of AI.
