The Innovative system is called PICT (Pancreatic Islet Cell Transplantation). The 3D printer can create a three-dimensional frame, inhabited islet cells responsible for insulin production. This method allows to reduce the risk of rejection of donor tissue during transplantation of pancreatic cells.

Bio-printer PICT allows to reduce this possibility by including in the donor material of the cells of the patient. "Printer PICT will allow us to create "custom made" by mixing donor cells with recipient cells in a special way, by which we get brand new bodies for experimental transplantation, significantly reducing the risk of rejection".
