The Federal financial monitoring service in Russia cryptocurrency being used for drug trafficking
Source:The crypto currency in Russia is used for different criminal activities, including drug trafficking. This is stated in the report to Rosfinmonitoring about the national risk assessment of money laundering in 2017-2018.
The document emphasizes that researchers last year found cases of drug trafficking in 23 regions of Russia. Most transactions were done using Bitcoin.
