NVIDIA introduced Jetson TX2 — tiny supercomputer next generation

The Company , known for its graphics cards, has unveiled the next generation of its platform . We remind you that this platform was developed in order to help manufacturers to integrate their devices artificial intelligence. If you believe the manufacturer, Jetson TX2 became twice as productive predecessor TX1 and two times less voracious in terms of energy consumption.

Jetson TX2 GPU, based on Pascal, and is provided with two 64-bit Quad-core ARM processors. On Board includes 8 GB of RAM and 32 GB of fast memory for data storage. In the platform, among other things, built-in 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet and Bluetooth. The main objective Jetson TX2 is active promotion of neural networks in production and daily life, because to build a platform you can almost everything from factory robots to personal gadgets.

In Addition to the TX2 NVIDIA also announced JetPack 3.0 – an updated version of its SDK, to control platforms Jetson family. The SDK can be purchased for 14 March at a price of $ 599, and the platform Jetson TX2 will go on sale in the second quarter of this year at a price of $ 399.
