The Underwater glider «Haya» developed by experts, Shenyang Institute of automation of the ANC, established a new world record for deep dive down to the Mariana trench to a depth of 6329 feet.

While a number of studies, the apparatus was submerged twelve times. The work lasted four days, during which the glider sailed over 130 kilometers in total spending under the water for more than 87 hours.

The Glider «Haya» performed well in difficult conditions and continued to follow the course despite the poor visibility and problems with transmitting signals. In carrying out their basic tasks underwater vehicle produced a continuous exchange of data and continued the dive.

During the four-day «swim» the glider has been fully tested and run-in, but got a few important observations which developers have to fix. However, the record he has set.
